Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Table spots are limited. On-site spot registration is subject to availability.

Participants are judged within their age group. CAC reserves the right to verify age if required.
Theme
Lord Ganesh Idol.
Open to artistic interpretation, but the subject must be Lord Ganesh.

Contest Rules

Sculptures must be started from scratch and completed entirely at the allocated table, within the 90-minute contest window. No pre-molded, pre-shaped, or semi-finished pieces are permitted.

Participants must bring their own materials and tools.

Participants must work alone. No external assistance is allowed. Parents/guardians may remain nearby in the venue but must not touch, guide, or contribute to the sculpture.

Photo references or sketches are allowed.

Participants arriving late after the contest start time will not be given extra time.

All sculptures remain on display for judging immediately after the contest. Participants take their artwork home after winners are announced.

CAC will photograph and video participants and their artwork for event promotion and social media. Participation implies consent.
Materials
Table space is provided. Participants must bring all their own supplies.

Modeling clay, terracotta, or air-dry clay

Sculpting tools, brushes, and base boards

Armatures or wire supports

Acrylic or poster paints

Decorative stones and accessories
Prohibited Items

Pre-cast molds of Ganesha's face or body

Plaster of Paris (PoP)

Toxic chemical sprays or aerosol adhesives

Any item the CAC team finds hazardous
Grounds for Disqualification

Receiving outside or parental assistance

Bringing a pre-made or partially-made sculpture

Starting before the official contest time

Cheating or disruptive behaviour

Use of prohibited materials

Not following organizer or volunteer instructions
Judging Criteria
Judges score each sculpture independently on:

Creativity and originality
-
Artistic skill
-
Detail and finishing
-
Relevance to theme
-
Presentation
Prizes and certificates are awarded to top performers in each age category. All judging decisions by the CAC panel are final and binding.
